A casual restaurant chain with approximately 45 locations has appointed Barson Advisory LLC as strategic advisor to the company’s Board of Directors to provide it with restructuring advice and expertise in negotiating a consensual resolution with the company’s lenders and preserve the going concern value of the business enterprise. The appointment came at the recommendation of the company’s independent directors’ committee. Mr. Barson will report to this committee and assist it in carrying out its duties and responsibilities, including advising on a potential restructuring if the company is unable to resolve outstanding issues with its senior secured creditors, or if other factors make a potential restructuring advisable.
